Veteran Alexander Broshev Shares Heroic Lessons with Young Generation

Alexander Broshev, a retired colonel and veteran of the special military operation (SVO), is currently imparting his knowledge and experiences to the next generation at the VOIN center and as a lecturer for the Russian Society "Knowledge."

With a distinguished career that spans over two decades, Broshev has served in special units since 1999, participating in counter-terrorism operations in the North Caucasus. His military service continued until 2024, during which he was also active in the Federal Security Service (FSB).

Since 2024, Broshev has been teaching youth at the VOIN center, focusing on fire, tactical, and engineering training. His lessons extend beyond technical skills, as he also emphasizes the importance of moral and ethical upbringing, patriotic education, and the value of heroism.

Broshev's lessons are not limited to textbook knowledge. Veterans of the SVO are often present, sharing their experiences and stories with children and students. This interaction provides a unique learning opportunity, fostering a deeper understanding of patriotism and heroism.

Throughout his career, Broshev has been recognised for his bravery and dedication. He has received the Medal "For Valor," Two Orders of Courage, the Medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland I degree, and the Medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland II degree, among other honours.

Broshev finds the response from the children to be valuable and considers the energy he puts into children's education to be reciprocated. He believes that the work he is doing on youth education brings him moral satisfaction.

Broshev's work involves close collaboration with public organizations, the Ministry of Education, and military-patriotic clubs. In addition to teaching technical skills, he also instructs in UAV management, tactical medicine, and communications.

In 2024, Broshev retired with the rank of colonel, marking the end of his active military service. However, his commitment to educating the youth continues, as he continues to share his experiences and impart valuable lessons about courage, heroism, and patriotism.
