Kew Green Hotels broadens its presence in South East Asia, debuting two Cassia by Banyan Tree Group accommodations in Bangkok, Thailand.
In the heart of Bangkok, a series of exciting hotel developments are underway, as international hotel groups partner with local real estate developers to bring new properties to the bustling city.
One such development is the Ramada by Wyndham Sukhumvit 87, located between BTS Bang Chak and BTS Onnut. This hotel offers 85 rooms, a dedicated yoga room, rooftop gardens, a swimming pool, garden, and a Kafeology coffee bar. Conveniently situated near shopping malls and entertainment in the Ekkamai area, this hotel is an ideal choice for both leisure and business travellers.
Another addition to the city's skyline is the Wyndham Queen Convention Centre Hotel & Residences, which boasts 150 rooms and suites near the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre MRT station. This hotel offers panoramic views of the Chao Phraya River, the bustling Port of Bangkok, and the surrounding greenery of Benjakitti and Lumpini parks plus the oasis of Bang Kachao.
IHG, the parent company of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, has made its first franchise agreement in Thailand as part of an expansion of its relationship with long-term partner Kew Green Hotels. This joint venture with experienced Thai real estate developer, Siamese Asset, will see the launch of five properties in Bangkok from 2021 onwards. These properties include the Wyndham Queen Convention Centre, Wyndham Garden Sukhumvit 42, Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Sukhumvit 48, Ramada by Wyndham Sukhumvit 87, and Crowne Plaza Bangkok Rama 9.
Kew Green Hotels, a leading UK and international hotel management company with over 55 hotels in its portfolio, is also expanding in South East Asia. The company has announced the signing of two Cassia by Banyan Tree Group properties in Bangkok. The first, Cassia by Banyan Tree Group Rama 9, will launch in Q3 2022 with 300 rooms. Located near the Thai capital's new central business district, this hotel offers exceptional access to world-class shopping and MRT station connectivity.
The second Cassia by Banyan Tree Group property, Cassia by Banyan Tree Group Ram Intra, will launch in 2024 with 220 rooms. This hotel is situated in a mixed-use development, Siamese Rama 9, which also features high-end apartments, office space, and a mall. The CEO of Siamese Asset Company involved in the Cassia by Banyan Tree Group project in Bangkok is Rak Worakitphokathon.
In addition to these developments, Crowne Plaza Bangkok Rama 9, due to launch in 2023, will feature 285 rooms within the mixed-use development, Siamese Rama 9. This hotel will offer amenities such as a roof-top garden, a restaurant, a bar lounge, spa, swimming pool, and gym.
To support these growing developments, Kew Green Hotels will be launching a Commercial Hub for South East Asia in Bangkok. This hub will integrate proactive and reactive sales, marketing, analytics, and revenue management to support Kew Green Hotels' increasing hotel portfolio in the region.
With these new developments, Bangkok continues to establish itself as a hub for international hospitality, offering visitors a diverse range of accommodation options to suit every taste and budget.
